Standby (ESP) and Prime (PRP) Ratings

Each model in the catalogue carries separate standby (ESP) and prime (PRP) ratings. The ESP figure applies to back-up duty during mains interruptions, while the PRP figure describes continuous running independent of the grid. kVA expresses apparent power and kW active power, the two linked by the 0.8 power factor. Sizing therefore starts from the intended duty profile rather than from a single headline number.

Load Behaviour and Enclosure Type

Motor-driven loads such as compressors, lifts and pumps draw starting currents several times their rated value, so a set is sized against starting behaviour as well as steady-state demand. On the enclosure side, the choice between an open set and a canopy (silent) unit follows from the installation area, noise sensitivity and ventilation conditions.

Delivery Scope and Information Needed

The generators are of Turkish origin and come with a 24-month warranty. Installation, commissioning and load testing are carried out after delivery, and on-site periodic maintenance can be run under a maintenance agreement. Spare parts are stocked for the engine brands listed above. To work on a quotation, the total load, the critical loads, the operating regime and the installation area need to be shared.
