Project Summary
For the Samsun Generator Project, a 330 kVA canopied diesel generator set powered by an SDEC engine was supplied. The unit was positioned on the deck of a vessel in the port area, on the platform beside the bridge structure.
Generator Set
The set is rated at 330 kVA and uses an SDEC engine. It was delivered as a canopied unit; the control panel sits on the front face of the enclosure and is reachable from outside. The side doors of the enclosure open for service and maintenance access.
Placement and Commissioning
The layout was planned so that the existing walkway and railings on the deck remained in place. Once the unit was set down, its connections were completed and the set was commissioned on site.
