Baudouin 715 kVA Diesel Generator
Where power continuity is not negotiable, the backup set must carry the full load the moment the mains drops out. The Nidexa Baudouin 715 kVA diesel generator answers both requirements from a single unit: 715 kVA / 572 kW of standby (ESP) power for emergency duty and 650 kVA / 520 kW of prime (PRP) power for continuous supply. Rated at a 0.8 power factor on a 400/230 V output, it delivers 1032 A in standby and 938 A in prime duty.
Engine
The set is built around the BAUDOUIN 6M33G715/5 diesel engine. Six inline cylinders displace 19.6 litres, while a 150 x 185 mm bore and stroke together with a 15:1 compression ratio point to a long-stroke, high-compression diesel layout. Air is fed through a turbocharged, aftercooled intake. Fuel consumption is quoted as 145.8 L/h at full load and 109.4 L/h at 75% load; the cooling capacity figure is 106.
Alternator and Electrical Data
The alternator runs three-phase at 400/230 V and 50 Hz, with all figures referenced to a 0.8 power factor. Winding insulation is class H and the enclosure protection rating is IP23.
