Baudouin 750 kVA Diesel Generator
For sites that need a backup source able to carry the whole load the moment mains supply drops, the Baudouin 750 kVA diesel generator works across a 750 kVA standby and 680 kVA prime power range. At a 0.8 power factor it produces 600 kW of active power in standby duty and 544 kW in continuous duty, which sizes it for medium and large installations where power continuity is defined at the design stage rather than added later.
Engine
Power comes from a BAUDOUIN 6M33G750/5 diesel engine with six cylinders in an inline arrangement and a displacement of 19.6 litres. Bore and stroke measure 150 x 185 mm and the compression ratio is 15:1. The turbocharged aftercooled intake cools the pressurised charge air before it reaches the cylinders. Fuel consumption is stated as 152 L/h at 100% load and 114 L/h at 75% load.
Alternator and Electrical Data
The set runs at 400/230 V, 50 Hz, three phase. Based on a 0.8 power factor it supplies 1083 A in standby duty and 981 A in prime duty. Winding insulation is class H and the alternator protection rating is IP23.
