Baudouin 900 kVA Diesel Generator
When the mains supply drops, production lines, data infrastructure and safety systems all lose power in the same instant. The Baudouin 900 kVA diesel generator is configured to cover that interruption with 900 kVA / 720 kW of standby output, and to carry longer periods of backup operation with 818 kVA / 654 kW of prime output. Rated at a 0.8 power factor with a 400/230 V output, it ties into an existing distribution board as a dedicated backup supply.
Engine
At the core of the set sits the BAUDOUIN 12M26G900/5. The 12-cylinder V type block has a displacement of 31.8 litres and runs a 150 x 150 mm bore x stroke. A 15.7:1 compression ratio with turbocharged, aftercooled aspiration keeps charge air temperature down and combustion efficient under sustained load. Fuel consumption is 185 L/hour at 100% load and 137.9 L/hour at 75% load, and these figures are the direct basis for tank sizing and refuelling planning.
Alternator and Electrical Data
The alternator output is 400/230 V at 50 Hz across 3 phases, rated at a 0.8 power factor. Windings use class H insulation and the enclosure carries IP23 protection.
