Overview
Baudouin 1000 kVA Diesel Generator
This generating set is designed around the Baudouin 12M26G1000/5, an engine that carries its twelve cylinders in a V arrangement. A displacement of 31.8 litres, a square 150 x 150 mm bore and stroke and a 15.7:1 compression ratio define a large, mechanically robust block. On the intake side a turbocharger works together with an aftercooler, raising the density of the air fed to the cylinders so that the 800 kW standby output can be sustained.
