Overview
Baudouin 20 kVA Diesel Generator
The Nidexa Baudouin 20 kVA diesel generator is built on a compact frame that can be sited even in plant rooms where the floor plan is already committed. The canopy version measures 2000 x 950 x 1260 mm, while the open-type skid takes up a 1700 x 950 mm footprint. Having both bodies lets the indoor-versus-outdoor decision be settled on dimensions alone, and the 950 mm width is usually what decides whether the set clears a narrow service corridor.
Engine
The set is driven by a BAUDOUIN 4M06G20/5 engine. Its four cylinders sit in an inline arrangement, total displacement is 2.3 litres, and bore and stroke measure 89 x 92 mm. With a 17.5:1 compression ratio, the engine is naturally aspirated, so there is no turbocharger in the air path. Fuel consumption is quoted at 4.7 L/h at 100% load and 3.6 L/h at 75% load, with a cooling capacity value of 16.
