Overview
Baudouin 350 kVA Diesel Generator
The Baudouin 350 kVA diesel generator is dimensioned for sites where the layout is settled long before the set arrives. In the canopy version it measures 4000 x 1400 x 2100 mm, while the open frame version occupies a 3000 x 1400 mm footprint, so the unit can sit in a plant room, in a technical yard or on a prepared concrete pad. Both body options share the same 1400 mm width, which lets access routes and service clearances be planned around a single figure.
Engine
Power comes from a BAUDOUIN 6M16G350/5 unit. The 9.73 litre inline six cylinder block runs a bore and stroke of 126 x 130 mm with a 17:1 compression ratio, and breathes through a turbocharged, aftercooled intake. Fuel consumption is quoted as 66.4 L/h at full load and 49.8 L/h at 75 percent load, two figures that feed straight into tank sizing and daily refuelling schedules.
Alternator and Electrical Data
The alternator supplies 400/230 V at 50 Hz in a three-phase arrangement, with a power factor of 0.8. Output current reaches 505 A in standby and 459 A in continuous operation, and switchgear selection and cable cross sections are calculated from these values. Installation and Use
With an overall canopy height of 2100 mm, ceiling clearance and the exhaust run are resolved around that dimension.
