Perkins 10 kVA Diesel Generator

The Perkins 10 kVA diesel generator is dimensioned so that the site layout can be settled long before the set is delivered. The canopied version occupies 1500 x 750 x 1100 mm, while the open-frame version needs a base area of 1200 x 750 mm. Since the width stays at 750 mm in both cases, service clearances and walkways can be drawn from a single plan, whether the set goes onto an outdoor concrete pad or into an existing plant room.

Engine

Power comes from the PERKINS 403A-11G1 diesel engine, a three-cylinder inline unit with a displacement of 1.13 L and a bore and stroke of 77 x 81 mm. It runs at a compression ratio of 23:1 and is naturally aspirated, with a stated cooling capacity of 5.2. Fuel consumption is 2.6 L/h at full load and 2 L/h at 75% load.

Alternator and Electrical Data

The alternator delivers 400/230 V at 50 Hz across three phases and is rated at a power factor of 0.8. Standby (ESP) output is 10 kVA / 8 kW and 14 A, while prime (PRP) output is 9 kVA / 7.2 kW and 13 A. The windings use class H insulation and the enclosure carries an IP23 protection rating.

At 1500 x 750 x 1100 mm the canopied version can stand on its own footprint, while the 1200 x 750 mm open-frame version is intended for an existing plant room or for an enclosure prepared separately.
