Perkins 50 kVA Diesel Generator (NDX-PER-50)

The Nidexa Perkins 50 kVA diesel generator is defined by its electrical output: 400/230 V, 50 Hz, three phases. It covers 50 kVA / 40 kW / 72 A in standby (ESP) duty and 45 kVA / 36 kW / 65 A in prime (PRP) duty. Every rating is referenced to a 0.8 power factor. On the alternator side, class H insulation and an IP23 protection rating set the thermal and physical limits of the electrical components.

Engine

Drive comes from a PERKINS 1103A-33TG1. The engine has 3 cylinders in an inline layout, a displacement of 3.3 litres, a bore and stroke of 105 x 127 mm and a compression ratio of 17.25:1. The induction type is turbocharged and the cooling capacity is given as 10.2. Fuel consumption is 10.7 L/h at 100% load and 8.2 L/h at 75% load.

Alternator and Electrical Ratings

The alternator produces 400/230 V at 50 Hz in three-phase form and is rated at a 0.8 power factor. Insulation is class H and protection is IP23. Rated current is 72 A in standby duty and 65 A in continuous duty. With 400 V line-to-line and 230 V line-to-neutral both available, three-phase motor loads and single-phase circuits run from the same set.

Dimensions are given for both versions: the canopied set measures 2300 x 950 x 1560 mm (length x width x height), the open set 2000 x 950 mm (length x width).
