The Nidexa Ricardo 90 kVA diesel generator is built around its electrical output: three-phase 400/230 V at 50 Hz. Engine

The set is driven by a RICARDO R6105ZD diesel engine. It is a six-cylinder inline unit with a displacement of 6.49 litres, a bore of 105 mm, a stroke of 125 mm and a compression ratio of 16:1. Aspiration is turbocharged. Fuel consumption is stated as 19.8 L/h at full load and 14.8 L/h at 75% load, giving two reference points for sizing fuel storage.
