Engine

At the centre of the set sits the YANGDONG Y4105ZLD diesel engine: four cylinders in an inline layout, 4.1 litres of displacement, a bore and stroke of 105 x 118 mm and an 18:1 compression ratio. Turbocharged, intercooled induction cools the charge air so a denser mass reaches the combustion chamber, and that is the mechanism behind the fuel figures quoted above.

Alternator and Electrical Data

The alternator delivers 400/230 V at 50 Hz across three phases. At the stated 0.8 power factor this works out to 44 kW and 79 A in standby duty, and 40 kW and 72 A in continuous operation. Windings carry class H insulation and the protection rating is IP23.

Installation and Use

The canopied version measures 2300 x 950 x 1560 mm (L x W x H), while the open frame occupies a footprint of 2000 x 950 mm. You can choose between the two according to the space available and where the set has to sit. The unit originates from Türkiye and is covered by a 24-month warranty.
