Perkins 200 kVA Diesel Generator (NDX-PER-200)

This Nidexa generating set is defined first of all by its electrical output and alternator behaviour. In standby duty (ESP) it produces 200 kVA / 160 kW at 289 A, while in prime duty (PRP) it delivers 180 kVA / 144 kW at 260 A. Because every figure refers to a 0.8 power factor and a 400/230 V supply, the three-phase load distribution of the installation can be planned directly from these current ratings.

Engine

The set is powered by a Perkins 1106A-70TAG3 diesel engine. It has 6 cylinders in an inline layout, a displacement of 7 litres, a bore and stroke of 105 x 135 mm and a compression ratio of 16:1. The aspiration type is specified as Turbocharged Air-Air. Fuel consumption is 41.6 L/hour at 100% load and 31 L/hour at 75% load.

Alternator and Electrical Ratings

The alternator runs at 400/230 V, 50 Hz in a 3-phase configuration with a power factor of 0.8. Insulation is class H and the protection rating is IP23. Switchgear, cable cross-sections and protective devices should be selected on the basis of the 289 A standby and 260 A prime current ratings.

Installation and Use

The canopied version measures 3600 x 1200 x 1850 mm, while the open type measures 2700 x 1200 mm, so the generator room or outdoor pad should be laid out to suit these dimensions. The set carries the stock code NDX-PER-200, originates from Türkiye and is covered by a 24-month warranty.
