Sizing a generator comes down to the gap between a site's peak demand and its steady running load. This unit is rated at 880 kVA / 704 kW in standby duty (ESP) and 800 kVA / 640 kW in prime duty (PRP). Engine

The set is built around an SDEC SC27G830D2 diesel engine: a 12-cylinder V-type block of 26.6 litres, 135 x 155 mm bore and stroke, and a 16:1 compression ratio. A turbocharged, aftercooled intake keeps combustion even under sustained heavy load. Fuel consumption is quoted at 175 L/h at full load and 131.2 L/h at 75% load, the two numbers that govern tank volume and refuelling intervals.

Alternator and Electrical Data

The alternator operates at 400/230 V, 50 Hz, three-phase, with a 0.8 power factor. Windings carry class H insulation and the enclosure is rated IP23. Electrical design work should reference the 1270 A (ESP) and 1155 A (PRP) current values.
